K2 Apache Recon

With the K2 Apache Recon Alpine Ski, skiers get an all-mountain ski capable of carving into any terrain. The mid-fat ski, with its 78mm waist and twin metal laminate construction, is built with stability and edge control in mind. Powerful turns are now possible in any conditions, and the Mod Monic construction model, which allows the use of a second elastomeric core to provide a damp ride, is built to keep from interfering with the flex pattern of the skis. Included are integrated Marker M112 bindings that are designed with the K2 Apache in mind to optimize energy transfer from you to the ski.

The K2 Apache has gained much of its following because of its off-trail and terrain riding abilities. No matter what terrain it is used on, it performs solidly, though crud and hardpack are where the Apache truly shines. The turn radius and response is among the most responsive available for a ski of this design. Included with the K2 Apache is the Marker M112 Binding, a well designed binding that offers superb control and powering for the ski. Available lengths for the K2 Apache include: 160cm, 167cm, 174cm, and 181cm.
