Rossignol S7
The Rossignol S7 skis are a great ski for anyone treading through deep snow. The Rossignol S7 skis have the exact amount of camber to be able to carve through powder and deeper snow with rockered tips and tails, but still have the ability to get you back to the lifts. The cores of Rossignol S7 skis are made are made from poplar wood, giving you a flight and flexible ski with incredible ski-to-snow feeling and maneuverability. In addition to being made out of poplar wood, the core of Rossignol S7 skis are also made with woven resilient carbon and Kevlar materials. The weight reduction system of the Rossignol S7 skis align the necessary fibers with ski’s sidecut so you can have more gravity in the underfoot and less in the tip and tail of the skis. In addition to the weight reduction system, the fibers aligned with the sidecut contain less fibers than competing skis so you have a better balance, rotation, and swing weight in an ultralight ski. The reverse sidecut of the Rossignol S7 skis and spatula-shaped tip also help improve deep-snow performance so you can master the mountain, no matter what the condition. The 2012 Rossignol S7's are available in men's (pictured) sizes 168, 178 and 188 , women's sizes 168 and 178 and youth sizes 150 and 160.
Reviewers of the Rossignol S7 skis had nothing but good things to say about these skis. Most reviewers claimed that it was exactly what they were looking for in a ski - a pair of skis that can handle the deep-snow carving, but also get them back to the lifts without getting stuck. Some reviewers said they were hesitant to use the Rossignol S7 skis because they were longer than any skis they had used in the past. However, this reviewer claimed he was extremely happy with the performance of the Rossignol S7 skis and they had an awesome feel to pop
out of the snow and catch some great stomp landings. There were no complaints about these skis amongst our reviewers and the consensus was that they were perfect for powder!
